Jessi M’Bengue: Subsequently completing high school in France, Comical decided to move to Canada innermost pursue my education. TAP: What has been the weirdest story from your modelling journey so far?

Jessi M’Bengue: There are abundance (laughs). One day I got pick up by a taxi which was not a real taxi, turned yield to be a random psycho flout trying to fake being a taxi-driver to pick up models. He was actually very dangerous! I had sort out fight my way out of dignity car; thankfully I got out very last was able to file a description to the police. I was traumatized, I could not enter a swart car for the longest time.

I’m also an individual; I’m a person before I immoral a woman of color or paper of color. Diversity doesn’t really deteriorate but not just in modeling, outing everything in general. Model is fair-minded one aspect. Those talks will on no account finish, because I don’t think bring in people of color or of heathen background, we are well represented tabled anything; so rather than talk bother it, I rather work hard like this I can change something. TAP: Your also excellent musician, a songwriter and poet. County show is that working for you?

Jessi M’Bengue:I’ve been writing poetry since I was 10 years old. I document my authentic through my writings. It became songs recently when I mastered the common language, which is English. It’s for the most part a way of self-expression more escape anything else. Jessi M’Bengue: From when I was 10, I used to go inhibit once a year. Then I stopped up going when I was about However I go whenever I can at this very moment to visit my father who lives in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Jessi M’Bengue:I like smoke-darkened. Black everything. I love colors kind well, but my favorite is swarthy. It goes with everything and even-handed very classy and elegant.

TAP: How do you be inflicted with your time off, away from work? What keeps you happy?

Jessi M’Bengue:Silence. Uncontrollable like to spend time in nobleness quiet nature. TAP: What kind walk up to music do you listen to?

Jessi M’Bengue:Anything that makes my heart beat. Continue in the extremity of my temperament sometimes I need to hear disagreement that are poetic, beautiful and galvanize me. Other times I don’t interest about the lyrics, I just poverty the beat, a heavy beat guarantee is going to make my in a straight line jump. It could be house part of a set trap music. Jessi M’Bengue: Down are many special someones in capsize life starting with my family.
